Safety4Kids CIC

We work with children moving from primary to secondary school and run courses in schools, an hour a week for 5-6 weeks to help children understand the issues about moving school and how to deal with them. We work with last year primary and first year secondary as these are the most vulnerable children, who need support in making the transition.
 
 We have discussion sessions covering key topics, which we constantly reinforce, but allow the children significant latitude in what they want to discuss. We highlight the issues and teach them to be aware and avoid trouble
 The second half of the session is focused on agility and the ability to take action to avoid trouble.
 
 Jason takes the courses, he is an MMA instructor and has worked in over 100 schools teaching children how to avoid trouble. He provides an authentic role model for the children.
 We currently work in 5 schools and have taught nearly 200 children.
 
 We are in the process of producing Stop and Search cards, which advise young people of their rights.
 
 We are looking to expand our schools coverage.
