Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC

Endeavour Woodcrafts CIC is a day service for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues. We provide education and learning in woodworking and arts and crafts set in a work based environment and have been established in Ferryhill since 1992. Our aim is to offer support in a safe and reassuring workplace where everyone is treated with dignity and respect to ensure all service users are encouraged to reach their full potential in line with their care plan. We teach life skills to promote independent living tailored to each individual whilst always focusing on our service users needs and capabilities. We encourage service users participation in all areas of our work and workplace offering something ‘a little bit special’ for our service users. 
 Endeavour Woodcrafts works in collaboration with local businesses and charities (not limited to the disabilities sector) exchanging services and support. We also open our doors to the local community and provide fully funded courses in a variety of subjects. Our local community is situated in an area of financial and social deprivation and in order to ensure we are fully inclusive to those who need help and support, the courses and the subject contents are chosen and designed to suit the needs of those wishing to attend to ensure full participation. The funding received to allow Endeavour to provide the courses, ensures no one is discriminated against due to their financial circumstances.

Our fully trained and well-motivated team are passionate in offering the best possible care incorporating a holistic approach whilst engaging the most efficient method of delivery.
